An Organization Is As Good As Your Leader!

We have all worked for various types of leaders with various types of leadership skills. We have worked for leaders that has a different style of leadership than, us and the one that we would like to work forever for.
More often than not the appreciation you have for where you work is directly proportional to the leader who is leading you.
As leaders it’s a great honor when someone comes and tells us that they will for us anwhere anytime.  Of course this doesn’t mean that its all about us but rather that that particular person bought into how we as their leader carried the organizational vision and how we impacted them personally.
I have had 3 leaders in my life that I will work for any day, anywhere, and any salary they offer me! I am sure you can think of one or two as well. Ironically those leaders worked for what I believe where the best companies I have ever worked for.
Here are the 10 common traits that those leaders had and if we start adopting them I am sure we will also have people who would work for us any day, any time, any where!

They passionately care about their employees and appreciate their personal lives.They are invest time to develop and make their employee better.  They are not micro managersThey have a mind of their own, and are not a yes man or yes womanThey always maintain a high degree of integrity.They are not temperamentalThey always let their employees know where they stand.They are open to feedback on their performance and always ask how they could do things betterThey are confident but balance it with humilityThey are extremely calm and collected even more so under pressure and/or under fire        
If you want to be a great leader and a people’s manager try to incorporate all of the above traits in your daily life style. Your people will respect, like, and love you unconditionally. I know I did with the above mentioned three leaders!
